A two-day symposium titled “Changing Perspectives on Japanese American Incarceration” will bring together scholars, community leaders, activists, filmmakers, artists and public historians to discuss topics that deserve reconsideration in light of new information and renewed interest: issei resistance, Tule Lake's stockade, the JACL, Peruvian Japanese, archaeology and more.
